Also for 2008 we’ve improved our postage options: When ordering online for UK delivery (details here: www.deafequipment.co.uk/store/viewPage.do?id=DeliveryCharges ), if your order weighs around 950g-20Kg, we now have a flat rate parcel charge of £7.95 (ex vat). So the good news is that now postage won’t cost any more if you buy a number of items, allowing you to add the new phone or clock you’ve promised yourself or perhaps some environmentally friendly rechargeable batteries?
We also have alternative delivery methods available. Internet shopping is great but not if you are not around to receive the parcel. Connevans is now offering the DHL@Home service with delivery between 9am & 9pm. There is a 48 hour weekday option without surcharge and a 24 hour weekday service for a small amount extra - we hope that this new service specifically aimed at internet shopping home deliveries will allow us to enhance your shopping experience. We are also offering ParcelForce before 10AM and 12PM for those very urgent items.
In collaboration with Geemarc we are now including a FREE inductive earhook with the Amplidect 250 cordless telephone. This is great news for hearing aid wearers because when combined with a handsfree inductive earhook this telephone can be regarded as a hearing aid compatible DECT telephone. Good News for account customers and those ordering by offline methods! You can now track the progress of your package from the moment it leaves us, to the moment it arrives with you. We can auto-email you a despatch notification when your order has been packed and is awaiting shipment. We include the parcel tracking details so you can track your delivery online. If you would like to sign up for this service, please reply to this email with your account number and email address or simply include your email address on your next order.
We have recently added ready-to-use Hybrio batteries to our range - like disposables they are ready for use straight from the pack and stay charged for a long time, but like rechargeables they can be recharged - ecological and economical, AA, AAA & PP3 are now in stock. AA size are here.
