Telephones
My telephone is about 6 months old and has stopped working, what should I do?
We suggest that you double check that all plugs are pressed fully in and that no leads are damaged (you would not be the first person to have a dog chew the lead - that would not be covered under warranty, but you may be able to buy a new lead) if you do not find the problem you will need to return it for repair/replacement under warranty.
Sorry - if you do discover that the problem is caused by physical damage e.g. the dog chewing it then it will not be covered by the warranty. It is possible to buy spare parts for some products e.g. handset curly cords, power supplies for minicoms, loop wire for loop amplifiers, vibrating pads for some clocks, etc. - please check on our www.DeafEquipment.co.uk website or in the current Connevans catalogue.
When returning the equipment please include your address (some people do not!), a description of the problem and details of the original purchase invoice or advice note from when you purchased the equipment - Connevans Limited are only able to provide warranty support for products that they sold.
Please pack the item well with at least 50mm of protective packing around it - use the original box and packaging if you still have it - please remember that it is at your insurance risk until received by Connevans Limited.
