Yes - read the user guide which has good information. But as a prompt, check that Software update auto-detecting is enabled (Menu, Installation, factory password is 0000, Installation).

You also need to be aware that in order to auto download an over-air software update the Humax box needs to be in standby mode - which also saves electricity - and I only found this out because my Humax had not not updated itself! (You can always use the automatic time ON and OFF facility, details in user guide)
