My Campus S transmitter is not charging, any suggestions?
We have two suggestions:-
The battery in the Campus S has an operational life of 1 to 2 years, it would be worth trying a new rechargeable battery if yours is a couple of years old. Follow this link to buy a replacement from our online store.
A variety of chargers have been supplied for Campus transmitters. Some of the chargers supplied for use with Campus S and Handymic TX3 transmitters had removeable plug ends (see below, plus there have been straight ends too), if the plug end is replaced the wrong way around the unit will not charge. The tip should be connected as tip positive (+).

My Campus S transmitter display is showing as normal but no sound is being transmitted, any suggestions?
Yes. The lapel microphone supplied with a Campus S has a twisting top to change between Omnidirectional (normal), Directional and off - check that the mic head has not been twisted to off by mistake.
Connevans have prepared a rather good Tutor Courtesy Card which shows how this operates,
please follow this link to read it or print yourself a copy.

A Campus S user has reported that the Campus changes channel by itself, any suggestions?
When a Campus S is worn on the waist we are aware that when the wearer sits down their tummy can operate the channel change button in error.
To avoid this you may lock the Campus S controls follow this link to see how on our tutor courtesy card.
Alternatively you can easily re-programme the campus S just to have the one transmitter channel that you use follow this link to see how to do this.
