Listening to the TV FAQ
Do you have a powerful headphone for music or tv connection so I can hear sound etc from the headphone without hearing aids which cause whistles. I am profoundly deaf and most headphones from normal shops are not powerful for us profound deaf people...do you have that kind?
No, such headphones do not exist.
When listening via a TV headphone socket the 'power' is normally provided by the TV, so the TV headphones that we supply are no louder than any others.
If you require more that usual volume you would need to purchase an amplified system such as can be seen in the assistive listening area of our catalogue.

Your best solution would probably be to use your hearing aids on 'T' with a loop device such as here or here when turned to 'T' your hearing aids are very unlikely to whistle.
Information on how your hearing aid 'T' pickup works may be found here
