Trying products - FAQ
Where can I try products?
In the first instance we would suggest talking with the hearing therapist at your local hospital hearing aid department or social services office who will have somebody who specialises in helping deaf people. They should have a range of equipment which they can demonstrate to help you decide which product is right for you.
The www.connevans.com and www.DeafEquipment.co.uk websites have a lot of information and FAQ's on equipment including user guides and feature comparison charts.
The National Deaf Children's Society - NDCS - operate a 'Blue Peter' loan service of equipment for deaf children.
If you live in West Sussex, the West Sussex Deaf and Hard of Hearing association have a fully equipped resource centre in Haywards Heath www.wsdeaf.org.uk and they have another fully equipped resource centre in Worthing at 51 Rowlands Road, Worthing.
We at Connevans Limited are able to demonstrate products at our factory in Reigate. However, appointments and products to be demonstrated must be pre-booked - to ensure a member of staff with appropriate product knowledge is available - we must point out that as a commercial company we are only able to discuss products that we sell, so we advise initially consulting an independent hearing therapist or social worker.
Please contact us E-mail: info@connevans.com if you have details of equipment demonstration facilities that we may add to this page.
