My mother has a Phoneflash and very occasionally, less than once a week, it flashes just once or twice otherwise it works fine. Is the unit faulty?
I am e-mailing you about my mother who is 90 and severely deaf, she lives in a warden controlled home 70 miles away. Needless to say she looks forward to speaking to me each night ( 7pm on the dot!!).
However, I can receive up to 10 phone calls because although I answer the phone at my end, she doesn't hear me and thinks that she hasn't got through so dials again. I know old age is cruel but it can be frustrating.
Part of the problem is that she has an old fashioned Box type hearing aid and when she uses her telephone she has to hold the telephone upside down so that he mouthpiece is up to her mouth ( obviously) and the earpiece onto her deaf aid box. But she doesn't always get it right...hence the reason she doesn't hear me answer at my end.
Therefore my long winded request to you is can you please suggest which phone would be best suited for her. I don't mind what I pay, I just need to make her telephones calls a lot easier.
