Domestic room loop amplifiers - FAQ

What is the best method of connecting a loop amplifier to a TV, I do not want to affect the sound for others in the room?

The preferred method of connection for a loop amplifier is via a TV SCART connection - unlike using many headphones sockets using a SCART connection will not cut off the normal sound for others in the room. Alternatively a microphone may be attached close to the TV or HI-fi speaker
