Connevans 1961 historical origin is as an electronics product design and manufacturing company. Whilst many people recognise Connevans as a mail order source of equipment for deaf people. Today in 2005 Connevans still has active design and manufacturing facilities producing products such as the fmGenie, CRM-220, Nightigale baby monitor, PPS433 pager system, ATU30 Auditory trainer to name but a few.

CONNEVANS MACHINE SHOP SERVICES

Connevans, established manufacturers & suppliers of high quality equipment for deaf and hearing impaired people for more than 30 years, now offers an additional service to a variety of businesses and members of the general public. Connevans' Reigate premises have a small engineering machine workshop, managed by a skilled & experienced engineering technician. A personalised service is offered with commitment to providing customers with superior workmanship and prompt response. Our machine shop is located at 54 Albert Road North, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 9YR.

Available Products

The workshop is able to produce small batches of small items regularly (up to 5,000) or take on adhoc jobs for one-off items including all of the above and the following:

Assembly Service

Connevans skilled work force can also provide an assembly service for small items e.g. electrical assembly, circuit boards** and wired units.

Surface Mount Assembly

Connevans' premises also has automated facilities to provide Pick & Place Assembly for Surface Mount printed circuit boards

Technology

Our facilities include a YAMAHA (I-Pulse) M4e Pick & Place Machine, DEC 248 screen Printer, Electrovert Infraflow 300 reflow machine and a Climatec Environmental Chamber.

We can pick, place, reflow and if required, condition boards in an environmental chamber. (The testing of Printed Circuit Boards is also available.)

One board can be built by hand or a screen can be ordered to fit the DEC 248 Printer. Double-sided pcb assembly is also available.
